Hello! This is Hermelinda, and this is my update information. I am in good health, and I turned 16 in May. I stay at home helping with the chores. I did not want to continue studying due to our low resources. It was a great achievement for me to pass all my primary grades, and I am sure God gave me the intelligence to do it. I continue talking with my mom and learning from her; she is the person with whom I identify most. Juana is one of my neighbors and also my friend, and we like talking while we walk to the feeding program.
I have learned that Jesus died on the cross for us, and I am grateful for His sacrifice for us. We are a family who serves God in a church called Christian Life, and we love it when there are thanksgiving services. We have been encouraged to continue trusting in God, and we are grateful to LW Evangelism team for their words. Thank God, my parents are in good health. My stepfather continues living and working in the United States, but he keeps in touch with us and sends money for our needs. He is washing dishes in a restaurant. On the other hand, my mother raises domestic animals like pigs and cows to help with the income. I say goodbye to you for now.
Sincerely yours
Hermelinda Coj Gutierrez
