My full name is Mario De La Cruz Grave, and I am glad to write this letter to tell you about my life. I hope this finds you doing well. I am 13 years old, and my health is good. I am in sixth grade, so I attend school in the morning. I live with my parents and one brother. My father works in the field and grows corn and beans for our consumption. I usually help him to look for firewood on weekends. My mom is a housewife and raises hens at home for our consumption. Fortunately, everybody is in good health. We are a humble family, and most of the time, we pass through difficult economic situations. Besides that, our house is not in good condition. For instance, the wood walls of the kitchen are moth-eaten, and the tile roof is broken, so water seeps when it rains. So, please pray for us.
We have attended Prince of Peace Church for about ten years. Fortunately, my mom accepted Jesus many years ago. She is grateful to the LW staff for sharing the gospel and helping her to trust in her salvation. Undoubtedly, this project has been a blessing not only for me, but for my family too. I have medical and dental care so that I can receive medicine for free. In addition, I received grocery bags at the feeding program to share with my family during the pandemic. After some time due to an illness, I have been able to attend the feeding program again. I love having black beans and eggs for lunch there. I say goodbye to you now, but I thank you so much for reading my information. See you later!
Warm hugs,
Mario De La Cruz Grave
