My Story

Hello! This is Ana Ajqui Gomez. I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are fine and healthy. I want to start this expressing you my gratitude for taking the time to read my letter. I tell you that I am 21 years old, and I am fine. I no longer attend school, so I stay at home helping my mother with the chores. I trust in my mom, and she is the person with whom I identify most. It is a great blessing for me to have the opportunity to continue living with my parents and see them in good health. God has shown me His love and faithfulness through my parents. I have a friend named Jennifer, and we attend the feeding program together; I also go to visit her in her home.

We are a big family, and my parents work hard to cover our basic needs. My dad, Carlos, works as a farmer or day laborer while my mom, Nazaria, raises hens for selling. We live in a village called Pacoc I. Eight of my siblings are registered at the feeding program too, and my oldest sister, Maria, helped me to give my information to the Evangelism team. As a family, we are now attending the Catholic Church, and we love it when there are vigils; they are held once a month. For me, Jesus is my faithful friend. Well, I say goodbye to you for now. May God bless you!

Sincerely yours

Ana Ajqui Gomez
