My name is Florinda Angelica Ajqui Gomez, and I want to tell you a little about my life. I no longer attend school due to our low resources. I am 18 years old, and I keep busy at home; I help my mother with the housework. One of my beautiful experiences has been to learn to cook; my mother taught me to do it and I enjoyed those moments with her. I talk about everything with my mommy, and she is the person with whom I identify most. I can feel Jesus’ love around me, and I am grateful to Him because thanks to Him my sins have been forgiven. Vilma is my friend’s name, and I walk to the feeding program with her.
Thank God, we are all healthy. We are a big family, and my parents work hard to cover our basic needs. My dad, Carlos, works as a farmer or day laborer while my mom, Nazaria, raises hens for selling. We live in a village called Pacoc I. Eight of my siblings are registered at the feeding program too, and my oldest sister, Maria, helped me to give my information to the Evangelism team. As a family, we are now attending the Catholic Church, and we love it when there are vigils; they are held once a month. I end my letter for now, and I hope you like it.
Yours truly
Florinda Angelica Ajqui Gomez
