My Story

I greet you cordially and I hope you are doing fine alongside your loved family. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I am Vilma Ester Guarcas Grave, and I am 14 years old. I want to let you know that we continue attending the Catholic Church every Monday and Wednesday. We thank the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words during the visit. So, my mother is sure of her salvation in Jesus. This year I no longer attend school. Last year I finished the 6^th grade, but I am helping my mother with chores at home.  In the future, I want to become the best farmer. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite celebration of the year is Easter because we eat a special kind of bread and honey. I prefer to drink lemonade. Among sports, I like soccer. I do not celebrate my birthday due to a lack of financial resources, but I would like to do it someday. I want to let you know that my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Teresa Grave Barrera. She is 46 years old. Currently, she continues doing chores at home. Moreover, she is raising hens and pigs to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Juan Guarcas Gutierrez.  He is 47 years old. At the moment, he continues working as a mason helper. As a humble family, our current needs are corn, groceries, and clothes. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every end of the year. I hope you like to read my letter. May God take care of you everywhere you are.  Every blessing to you!
