It is a pleasure to greet you in this opportunity; God bless you! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Prince of Peace Church, and we go on Mondays. We give thanks to LW staff who shared the gospel and gave encouraging words to continue seeking God. I continue living with my grandparents, but I stay in touch with my parents and siblings. My grandfather is Raul, and he makes a living by making water wells to get income. My grandmother is Juana, and she stays busy with the household work. In addition, she raises hens for selling to get income. My family grows corn and black beans for our consumption. Thank God, we all are in good health.
I am Aidy Yanira Garcia Morente, and I am a 13-year-old girl. This year I am in 3rd grade; I am learning a lot since my classes are at school. My grandparents are doing their best to cover my school supplies, I am so thankful to them for it. Later, I would like to work in a grocery store to help my family. My native language is Quiche dialect, and I would like to learn to speak Spanish because I would like to communicate better with other people. I like to play football in my free time; it is the sport I like the most. I love drinking Coca cola. It is my favorite beverage. At Christmas time, I love to eat “tamales y ponche” (a typical dish and a hot fruit punch), and we enjoy them for Christmas Eve dinner. On my birthday, I love to have a cake and share it with my loved ones; it is so special for me. We are so grateful to Living Water for the tasty meals that my siblings and I receive because it is a big blessing for us. The greatest needs are groceries, corn and clothes. Sending all my love. May God bless you greatly!
Kind regards,
Aidy Yanira Garcia Morente
