My Story

Hello! How are you? I hope you are fine together with your loved ones. I am Jennifer, and I happy to have the opportunity to write you this letter. I want to thank you for supporting Living Water-Adopt a Child because I have been blessed in a great way here. I have received many delicious lunches, and my favorite one is fried chicken. Christmas celebration is a beautiful activity held at the feeding center, and I enjoy it a lot. As a family, we attend Assembly of God Church, and my mother sometimes has the privilege to sing the praises in the services. LW Evangelism team has shared us God’s Word, and we have paid attention. I am 12 years old, and I am in 6^th grade this year. I study in the mornings, and I help with the household chores on weekends.

I want to ask for your prayers for my father’s health and our economic situation. At the beginning of this year, my father had a surgery to remove a tumor he had in his head. He is recovering from it, and he is not working because the doctor told him to not work for about 3 years to have a good recovery. My mother is a housewife and she does not have a job. She earns some money by raising domestic animals like hens and cows. She also grows corn and black beans for our consumption. God has been faithful with us and has shown us His mercy through our neighbors who have blessed us with groceries and food. My mom and I gave this information to the Evangelism team, and I hope you find it interesting. May God bless you!
