My Story

Hello, I am delighted to send my greetings through this and I hope you are doing great! My name is Vernaldina Mendez Garcia. I turned 13 years old recently. At school I attend 5th grade and I receive my classes on the morning shift. I like to help my mother with our crops on weekends when I have more time to do it. My father works hard as a farmer to sustain our family´s needs. On the other hand, my mother does the housework, raises hens and turkeys and goes to sell herbs in the market. We cultivate corn and beans for our livelihood.

I like to participate in the Christmas celebration that Living Water organizes at the end of the year; I get so excited to receive a Christmas gift. I am so blessed to receive tasty meals in the program and my favorite one is fried chicken. We are a humble family and we are very thankful to God for allowing us to be healthy.  I want to ask for your prayers for the well-being and provision of my family. My family and I are members of the Jesus the Good Road Christian Church. Let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW team to update you about me.
