Hello! I am Ruth Noemi, and it is a joy to greet you through this letter. I hope God’s grace makes you feel blessed, prosperous, and in victory! I want you to know that I still attend Calvary Church. My family and I attend our services on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. My father, Mario Antonio, is 42 years old and he continues to make a living as a gas delivery man. My mother, Marta Godinez, is 41 years old and sells secondhand clothes to cover other necessities at home. Fortunately, both of them are healthy. We are a family of low resources, and our most demanding priority is a stove; the one we have at home now is in bad condition. I turned sixteen years old in May. What I love doing the most is receiving gifts and a tasty cake that my mother buys to celebrate my birthday. I am so happy to tell you that I am attending school again after a few years. Therefore, I am in seventh grade again and receive face-to-face classes on weekends. This study method is better to learn and understand the lessons faster.
I look forward to becoming a nurse, so I want to count on your prayers for my family and me. Because of the lack of work opportunities, our economy is lower, and it is difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses. Holy Week is my favorite time of the year because we prepare to sell and get another income. If someday I might have the opportunity to study a new language, I would like it to be English. My health is good so far, although I am allergic to the sun. I like drinking tamarind juice, and my favorite sport is football. I wonder, what are your likes and dislikes? I say goodbye to you for now, but I also want you to know that LW is a great blessing for my family and me. This project has provided us with moral and spiritual support. Proof of that is that a member of the LW staff encouraged us to continue trusting in God while he collected my information for you. I was forgetting to tell you that I have three lovely dogs at home; I hope to tell you about them the next time.
With many kisses and hugs,
Ruth Noemi Ibarra Godinez
