Hello, my name is Lester Octavio Chivalan García. It is a pleasure to greet you today. I want to share a little bit of information with you in this update. I am a 21-year-old boy living in a small place called Tunaja in Guatemala. I am no longer in school. I am older now, and I have to work. I usually find work to do with neighbors. They pay me to do some odd jobs or provide extra labor. With the money I earn, I help my family with some expenses and some extra things. My parents are very hard workers, and they have always provided every need for us. My dad’s name is Mario Chivalan Coj. He is an evangelism teacher at Living Water Adopt-A-Child. He works in the feeding programs and does a lot of visits and activities for the children in our area. My mom’s name is Maria Victoria Garcia Gutierrez. She is a stay-at-home mom, and she also raises and sells chickens to make a little extra money. I have one little sister and one little brother. We go to church together at Prince of Peace Pentecostal church. We love going to all the services and activities. We always participate and serve in any way we can. I have especially loved being able to serve on the worship team at church.
This has really impacted my life. I have learned so much about music and different instruments, and also, I have learned that I myself am an instrument in the hands of God. My parents are both very dedicated in the church, and they are sure of their salvation by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I also know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I love spending time with my dad because he also loves serving the Lord and doing the things of God. We love doing it all together. I also love spending time with my best friend, who is my cousin. His name is Danilo. We like to just hang out and talk about a lot of different things. I will say goodbye for now. I hope you enjoyed reading my information. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit. I pray God will bless you and your family in all you do.
Much love and many blessings,
Lester Octavio Chivalan García
