My full name is Jason David Garcia Barrera, and I feel so blessed to write this letter to you. Before introducing myself, I want you to know that my father and I appreciate you taking the time to read the information about our family and mine. Fortunately, I am a healthy 15-year-old boy. I am in eighth grade this year. I do homework in the morning and attend school in the afternoon. On weekends, I usually help my father to work on the ground. We grow corn for our consumption. He makes a living as a farmer and driver to support our family economically. While he works outside the home, my mom keeps busy doing the chores. Fortunately, none of my family is sick. We are members of the Catholic Church. I am glad because Alicia, my oldest sister, serves at church by reading the gospel. My parents accepted Jesus there many years ago. My father appreciates the encouraging words that a teacher of the LW evangelism team gave him to continue seeking God. I am glad to be part of Living Water because it has blessed my family and me with food. My favorite food at the feeding program is fried chicken. The staff organizes a Christmas party at the feeding program annually. What I enjoyed the most were the Christmas games and songs. I say goodbye to you now, but do not forget you have a friend in the beautiful mountains in Guatemala. See you later!
Cordiality yours,
Jason David Garcia Barrera
