My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you again. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. I’m Eva Gutierrez Chingo, and I am 11 years old. I am in 2^nd grade now. I go to school in the mornings and afterward, I go home to help with the housework and chores. In my free time, I love to play with my siblings. I want to tell you that I love going to the feeding program each week. The lunch they serve us is always a huge blessing for me and my family. My favorite food to eat at the program is the fried chicken. What I love about the Christmas celebration is the songs we sing. I want to tell you a little bit about my family now. My dad is named Rafael Gutierrez Garcia. He makes a living as a farmer. During the months of October to December, he travels to the coast to work on coffee farms.

My mother’s name is Estela Chingo Garcia. She is a housewife. She raises sheep to sell in the market. She also takes care of our chickens and the corn that we grow, which are for our own consumption. I ask for your prayers for her as she recently gave birth to our baby sister. We are so excited to have a new member of the family and we feel so blessed. We pray that my mom will recover fully and quickly. My family and I attend the Assembly of God Church regularly. My parents are both leaders in the church and they are very faithful and strong Christians, praise the Lord. I want you to know that my sister, Irma, shared this information with the LW evangelism teacher so you could receive this update. I send you many hugs and kisses until next time!
