My Story

Hello! It is a good opportunity to greet you and hope you are doing well. Let me tell you a little about my family and me through this letter.  I am Yesly Edith Contreras Oscal and I am 10 years old. I am a healthy girl. I am in 3^rd grade at school this year and I go to study in the mornings. I like to go to the soccer field on weekends. My favorite meal is noodles with meat.  I want to let you know that LW has blessed my family and my life through the spiritual support, medical clinics and with groceries packs during the time we needed them most. In addition, I enjoyed the dramatizations about Jesus’ birth during the Christmas celebration in the Feeding Center. I would like to become a volunteer there because I think it is good to help others. My family is grateful for every blessing that I receive from the Ministry.

My mother`s name is Lilian Maritza Contreras. She lives with us and she provides for our financial needs. She accepted Jesus in her heart 4 years ago. As you know, she suffers from diabetes. Moreover, she suffers from high blood pressure and is sick from her gallbladder. At the moment, she needs a surgery, but unfortunately, in the public hospital it is difficult to do that due to the increase in patients. The doctor gave her only medicine to calm the pain. Currently, she is taking medicines for the diabetes and high blood pressure. Nowadays, she sells in a home-made snacks business in order to support us financially. I ask for your prayers for daily food for my family and especially for my mother`s health. As a family, we continue attending the Sheep`s Shelter Christian Church. I accepted Jesus in my heart 2 years ago. The LW teacher encouraged my mother during the visit to continue seeking God. I hope you enjoy my letter and thank you for everything you do for me.
