Hello! My name is Florina. I am 10 years old, and my birthday is on April. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is black, and my future dream is to study and become a teacher. I started in September the fourth grade of school. The first days of school were very exciting for me because I met again with my teachers and classmates. I like to learn well at school and my favorite subject I like to study the best is English language. I like to get together with my friends and spend time playing outside. I like sports and all I usually play with ball, I am learning to play volleyball. I spend a couple of hours studying to go prepared for school. While I study, my older sister helps me especially while I do the homework we get from school. I spend the rest of the day playing inside the house and watching programs for children on television. After playing, I help my mother while she cleans our living room, prepares our dining table, fixes our beds, etc. I live with my family in a village that belongs to the community of Pogradec. The town is far, and we travel by minibuses to reach there, whenever we need to do shopping, take official documents, get visits from the specialist doctors at the hospital, etc. I have four members in my family and our house offers good living conditions to us. I have my father, mother and an older sister. My parents own land in the village and deal with farming, since agriculture is still beneficial for us. They keep a cow and during this year they planted mostly what is needed to feed it. My parents feed the cows in the fields during the warm seasons, and during the winter, we feed it inside. We are gaining milk and diary, which we consume in our family as well as the calves delivered by the cow every year. My mother plants vegetables for consumption in the garden we have close to our house. At present, she is collecting fruits and makes jam or juice fruit so that we consume products like these during the winter. Because we are financially challenged, my father has emigrated from time to time to work in Northern Macedonia or Greece. He works in these countries as hired, so he is not working full time and is not doing the same job. When he emigrates, our income is improved and our needs are mostly met. When he is not hired, we still remain with very many needs that are uncovered. We are not considered very poor, compared to other families who live in the village and deal with farming only. I am very thankful to the sponsorship program for the spiritual and physical help they are offering to me. I like to go regularly at the Bible classes of the program where we learn about the Lord. I am also happy that I receive food packages constantly as help for my family and me. God bless you richly for all the care and support you give to me.
