My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter! This is Luis Fernando, and it is a privilege to greet you through this letter. I hope this finds you doing well. My family and I are members of the Catholic Church and attend mass every Sunday and Friday. Listening to God’s news at church is valuable, and I also can do it at the feeding program. I want you to know that LW means a lot to me because this project has blessed many children like me with delicious food and medicines. A member of the staff encouraged us through my mother to continue trusting in the Almighty while he collected this information for you. My mother, Lesbia Guaran, is 29 years old. She keeps busy doing the chores while my father makes a living by farming the land. His name is Luis Chum and he is 30 years old. He makes his best for our family, although sometimes it is hard for him to cover our necessities and school expenses of my siblings and mine. Our priorities are new beds since ours are old. Besides that, we know that prayers are crucial, so I would like to count on yours to go ahead. Fortunately, we are in good health. I am nine years old, and I attend school as a third grader. Receiving face-to-face classes is the best for me because I like having fun with my friends. I look forward to becoming a fireman and improving my Spanish to speak this language fluently. My favorite season is summer because I can visit lovely places thanks to the hot weather. I like drinking strawberry shakes and I love playing soccer. My birthday was in May, and what I enjoyed the most was having a special lunch and eating a cake to celebrate with my family. I say goodbye for now, but if you want to hear a little bit more about my life, feel free to ask me.

Sincerely yours,

Luis Fernando Chum Guaran
