My Story

It is a blessing for me to greet you through this letter. This is Fredy, and I hope you are doing well wherever you are. Let me tell you that I attend Liberty Church here in Jocotenango. My family and I attend services every Sunday. The Almighty has always shown us his great mercy. Proof of that is that I am part of the feeding program, and my parents work there. Besides that, I listen to God’s news, and I have medical and dental care. A teacher of the evangelism team shared the gospel with my mother and collected this information for you. My father, Armando Pu, is 50 years old. He works as a guard while my mother works as a cook. Her name is Marta Barrera, and with her income, she helps my father to cover the expenses. Thankfully, my family is healthy.

My health is stable now, although I am under medical treatment because I suffer from seizures. I do not attend school formally, but thanks to LW, my younger sisters and I have a particular teacher. She explains to us how to write and read, but her teaching is not supported by the education ministry of our country. She belongs to my church and goes to my home from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. My favorite sport is soccer, so I would like to become a soccer player. When the year finishes, I get excited because I love celebrating Christmastime and vacations. I love drinking Coca-Cola, eating cake, and breaking piñatas to celebrate birthdays, especially if it is mine. I am eighteen years old, and my birthday was in April. If someday I had the chance to learn a new language, I would like it to be English. I say goodbye for now, but I send you my best wishes, hoping to hear from you soon.

Sincerely yours,

Fredy Antonio Pu Barrera
