Child
Hello! I am happy to write this letter to tell you about my 2024 news. I am Keyla Mishel Gomez Lopez. I turned 12 years old in April. I am a sixth grader this year. I have classes in the morning. My favorite hobby is walking, so I take advantage of weekends to do it. Now, I want to thank you so much for supporting me a lot through Adopt-A-Child. I enjoy listening to the gospel at LW, especially when the staff talks about the birth of our Savior. I love eating pepian (typical Guatemalan casserole) at the feeding program. I would love to serve in this project by doing different tasks as some teenagers usually do.
Now, let me tell you about my family. Unfortunately, my father has not lived with us for a couple of months because he had problems with my mom. I would love to count on your prayers for my parents. My father works as a mason in Antigua and supports us economically. My mom makes a living as a firefighter. She usually covers Sumpango and Jocotenango towns. Fortunately, there is nobody sick. My family and I just started to attend a Christian Church called Mount Basan. Listening to the Holy word of our Heavenly Father is comforting. Therefore, I am grateful to a teacher of LW for sharing the gospel and encouraging me to trust in the Lord. I send you many kisses and hugs. I hope to hear from you soon.
Affectionately,
Keyla Mishel Gomez Lopez
