My Story

It is such a blessing to write this letter to special people like you. My full name is Vilma Maria Elena Chingo Cux, and I am pleased to share that everything has gone well at school. I am 11 years old, and I attend the fifth grade. I am grateful to God for helping me and keeping me healthy. Jesus is the Lord of mercy and love, so I enjoy learning about him at my church, Prince of Peace. My family and I love taking part in the different activities because they help us to be close to God.

Now, let me tell you a little about my family. Fortunately, everybody is doing well. I have a lot of confidence in my parents, especially in my mother. She is dedicated to raising and selling chickens and pigs to contribute to the expenses. While she keeps busy at home, my father makes a living as a day laborer and farmer to bring food home. Before ending, let me tell you that I made a good friend a few years ago. Her name is Lidia, and we usually meet at the feeding program. See you later!
