Hello, my name is Camilo Garcia Quino. I am 15 years old now and I am in 4th grade. After school, I work in the corn fields. I want to tell you a little bit about my family. My father is Teodoro Garcia Simaj. He is a farmer and day laborer. He has been struggling with severe headaches for a while now. He is on medication, but we pray he will be well again soon. My mother’s name is Paula Quino Garcia, and she is a midwife. She also takes care of the house and raises chickens, pigs, and cows to sell in the market. We also grow corn to eat at home. Unfortunately, we recently received news that my oldest brother, Rigoberto Garcia Quino passed away while he was traveling. He wanted to go work in the United States, but he had an accident and did not make it. He left his wife and children. They need prayers as well as my family. We are all grieving his loss and it has been especially hard for my mother.
As a family, we attend a catholic church. My mother is very confident in her faith, and she believes Jesus died for her sins. We are very grateful for the ministry of Living Water. We have been blessed through the lunch we receive each week at the program. My favorite food at the program is the fried chicken. My favorite part about the Christmas celebration is the special lunch we get and when we receive our wonderful gifts. I want to tell you that my mother is the one who shared this information with the LW evangelism teacher who visited us. I wish you good health and many blessings in the name of Jesus.
Many kisses and hugs,
Camilo Garcia Quino
