My Story

Hello! Padrinos how are you? It is a pleasure for me to greet you and wish you a blessed and beautiful day alongside your loved ones. I want to tell you a little about my family and me through this little letter. About me: I am Pedro Israel Batz Coj and I am 11 years old. I am a healthy boy. I am in 5th grade at school this year and I go to study in the mornings. I do my homework in the afternoon and I like to collect firewood on weekends. I accepted Jesus in my heart 3 years ago.  LW has blessed my family and my life through the delicious meals for lunch like the fried chicken that I love eating and medicines through the medical clinic. I enjoyed singing the special songs during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. My grandmother is grateful for every benefit that I have received from the Ministry.

About my family: My grandmother`s name is Santa Barrera. As you know, I live under her care. She supports us financially by working as a midwife and weaving typical clothes to sell and get some income. Moreover, she continues raising hens, pigs and cows to sell. In addition, she grows corn for our consumption. I want to let you know that my maternal grandfather Pedro Coj Riz lives and works in the United States.  He works as a carpenter and he sends us some money for our family needs. He suffers from diabetes, but he visited the doctor and he is under medical treatment.  As a family, we are attending the Charismatic Group that belongs to the Catholic Church. The LW team encouraged my grandmother to continue seeking God during the visit. I ask for your prayers for my family’s needs especially for our school supplies. Thank you for your support and love. I send you all my love! (My grandmother provided this information to the Evangelism teacher)

Strong hugs,

Pedro Israel Batz Coj
