My Story

Hello! I feel so blessed to be part of the feeding program from Living Water and receive a big support. My name is Hector Sebastian Cux Ruiz. I turned 10 years old last May. We continue attending the King of the Centuries Christian Church; we like to participate in the Thanksgiving service. My mom is so thankful to an evangelism teacher because he shared the gospel, and now, she is sure of her salvation. Jesus is my friend and is watching over me all the time. My mom is a housewife and weaves typical blouses to sell to get income. She is the only one who supports our family. I want you to include my family in your prayers because she suffers from gastritis; she visited a doctor in the past. She took medicines but now no longer does because of a lack of resources. Besides that, we are fine.

I am in 4^th grade this year. I am a healthy boy; however, I suffer from speech problems. Due to a lack of resources, my mom could not take me to the specialist. I have a friend named Oscar and we enjoy playing football. I admire my mom since she is a hard-working woman. I had a stepfather in the past and it was a very bad experience for me; thankfully, my mom decided that this situation was not appropriate for our family. I thank God for watching over me and giving me peace. I recognize that Jesus died on the cross to save the world. I would like you to know that my mom, Maria, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today.
