Hello! I am sending you my best wishes and thank you for taking the time to read my little story. Jesus is my faithful friend, and by the grace of God, my family and I are persevering in the Catholic Church. We like to celebrate “posadas” in December (this is a small procession which represents when Joseph and Mary were looking for a place where Jesus could be born). My mother listened attentively to the gospel when LW team visited my house and she helped to collect this information.
I am Alicia Yessenia Perez Alonso and I am a fifteen-year-old teenager. I am an eighth grade student, and for me, it has been a good experience because I am enrolled in a new stage of my studies. I finished the primary school two years ago and God has helped me to understand and learn every subject. He has given me his wisdom. He always is with me and I feel his presence. My best friend`s names are Manuela and Yenci and we have been friends since we started to study. I would like to ask for your prayers because I was diagnosed with cysts in both of my ovaries, and unfortunately, I am not under medical treatment due to a lack of money.
I have a good connection with my mother because we talk a lot and I trust her. Her name is Maria Crisenta and she does the household duties. Moreover, she earns a living by tending the bakery in Zacualpa town, and my father Henry Oliverio continues driving heavy trucks to provide for our economic needs. Thank God, my family and I are doing fine and everything goes well at home. Have a wonderful and a nice day!
A bunch of hugs,
Alicia Yessenia Perez Alonso
