My Story

Hello, it is a pleasure to greet you today. My name is Jennifer Griselda Barrera Chingo. This is a short update to give you some information about myself. It has been another great year. I turned 13 years old this year on March 17^th. I also studied in the seventh grade. We are finishing up the school year now and I am happy because I am doing well. I am grateful that God has been taking care of us. We have been well with my family. My dad’s name is Carlos Barrera Morente. He is a paid laborer, and he is the one who provides for our family with what he earns. My mom’s name is Juana Chingo Gomez. She is a stay-at-home mom. She stays home to take care of me and my siblings, and she does a lot of the chores and housework. I love my parents so much because I trust them with everything. They are the best mom and dad. I love spending time with my best friend, Ingrid. We have been friends since we were little, and we love to hang out and talk with each other. My family and I go to church at Seventh Day Adventist Church. We love going to the youth group activities. We always have so much fun.

I also have learned about Jesus. I learned that He is the Lord. I have faith in Jesus as my Savior. I know that I am saved by Jesus Christ. The teachers at Living Water Adopt-A-Child always encourage us to keep seeking the Lord and growing in our faith. I am grateful for this. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my information today. It makes me feel so special to think that someone from so far away is thinking of me.
