Hello, it is a pleasure to greet you and send you blessings. I am Nery Osvaldo Barrera Chingo. I am so happy to bring you a short update with some information about myself. I am eleven years old now. I turn twelve on November 17th this year, which is very exciting. I was in fifth grade this year. We are finishing the school year now, and I am happy because everything has been going well in my studies. Thankfully, my family and I are also well, and we are in good health. My mom’s name is Juana Chingo Gomez. She does not have a job. She stays home and works doing the chores and housework. My dad’s name is Carlos Barrera Morente. He is a day laborer and farmer. He works so he can sustain our family financially. God has been very good to us. He has always guarded and protected us.
My family and I go to church at Seventh Day Adventist Church. I love going to the services each weekend, and we especially love going to the youth group services and activities. One of the most important people in my life is my cousin Alex. He is so reliable, and I have so much trust with him. I also have a best friend named Elias. We have been close since we were little. We love playing soccer together. The teachers at Living Water Adopt-A-Child always encourage us to seek the Lord and remind us that Jesus is Lord. The Living Water program has been such a blessing to me and my family. We receive so much from them, and we thank God. I hope you enjoyed reading my update today. I send much love and many blessings. I know God will bless you in a big way for your big heart.
With much love,
Nery Osvaldo Barrera Chingo
