My Story

My full name is Marta Keilin Gricelda Grave Mateo, and I am so happy to share my news with you. I love Jesus as a father because my parents taught me to do it. We attend the Catholic Church in our village. We enjoy taking part at Mass, especially when people thank God for their harvest. I am 6 years old and I am excited because my parents enrolled me in school. I am in kindergarten. The thing I enjoy the most is playing dolls when I gather with my best friend, Andrea. I met her about one year ago. The Almighty has been faithful with my family and me all the time. As proof of his love, we are doing well.

My father works hard as a farmer and day laborer in our village. He also travels to the coast and works on a coffee farm for three months to earn extra money. My mother is a busy housewife, who raises chickens to sell. She uses her income to contribute to the expenses. I have a good relationship with my grandmother, on my father’s side. I like spending time with her. I want to share that my mother accepted Jesus in her hear many years ago. She is sure about her salvation. A staff member of LW congratulated her and encouraged us to continue seeking the Lord.  Thank you so much for reading my letter!
