Hello! I am Juan Israel Rodriguez Jimon, and it is nice to tell you a little about my life through this letter. I am 8 years old, and I attend the first grade at school. Thankfully, my family and I are healthy. I identify with my granny and mom because they are loving people. They work hard by making and selling bamboo baskets throughout the year. This work does not leave them much money, so my mom travels to the city and works in a tortilleria business for two or three months. To earn extra income, she also travels to the coast and picks coffee beans during the last two or three months of the year. Being far away from my mom was a very difficult experience for me at the beginning, but God comforted me and gave me the peace I needed. I get along well with my cousins, especially with Lorena. We like playing soccer together. My granny and I attend the Catholic Church. We like participating in the anniversary of our church because it is a nice celebration. A member of the LW staff asked my granny and me who Jesus is to us. We told him that He is God’s son. To end this letter, I want you to know that we shared all this information with LW just for you. Until next time!
With much love,
Juan Israel Rodriguez Jimon
