Pasojoc III
Guatemala
Child
Hello, my name is Elvin Saqueo Grave Luis. It is a pleasure to greet you today through this short update. I hope you are well as you read this letter, and I hope it blesses you to learn about me. It makes me feel so special to think that someone from so far away could be reading my information. I live in a small mountain village in Guatemala called Pasajoc 3. My mom’s name is Bacilia Luis Garcia. She is a housewife. She also raises chickens and sells them to make some extra money. My mom works very hard to take care of our family, and I admire her so much for that. She is very special to me. My dad’s name is Tomas Grave Simaj. He works as a paid laborer and farmer. He grows mostly corn and beans, and he provides for our family with what he earns. We go to church at Prince of Peace Pentecostal Church. I love going each week. It is very special when we have a thanksgiving service for the harvest. We give thanks to God for all He has given us and how He has always provided. I love my family so much. We are very close. I especially love spending time with my sister, Maria.
She is like my best friend, because she takes care of me and she plays cars with me. I am only five years old, so I am not old enough to go to school yet, but I will start next year. I am excited because I want to go to school and learn. I have enjoyed going to the feeding program each week and eating a delicious plate of food. It is so much fun, and the teachers are so nice too. I hope you enjoyed reading my information today. It was a pleasure to share it. It makes me feel so special to think that someone from so far away is thinking of me. I send a big hug to you and your family.
With much love,
Elvin Saqueo Grave Luis
