My Story

Hello, my name is Jose Wilson Hernandez Chivalan. It is a pleasure to greet you today through this short update. I hope you are well as you read this letter, and I hope it blesses you to learn about me. It makes me feel so special to think that someone from so far away could be reading my information. I am six years old, and I do not go to school yet, because I am still too young. I stay home with my mom, and she takes care of me while I play with my cars and toys. My mom’s name is Santos Chivalan de la Cruz. She is a very good mom. She stays at home and does the housework and chores. She also raises animals to sell so she can make some extra money for the family. My dad’s name is Hilario Hernandez de la Cruz. He moved to the USA three years ago so he could work. He works on a cow farm. He keeps communication with us and calls once a week. He always sends us money to support us each month, but I still miss him a lot. I was very sad when he left, but God gave me peace and took away the sadness from my heart. My mom is very special to me. She works very hard for us, and she takes good care of me. She is the best mom. We go to church at Life Christian Church. It is a good church.

I like going and learning about Jesus and the stories of the Bible. We believe that Jesus is the Healer, and He died for us. Our favorite service to go to is the thanksgiving service which we do for the harvest each year. It is very special. My mom says she is not sure of her salvation, but she was encouraged by the Living Water teacher to continue seeking the Lord and growing in her faith. I have a best friend named Apolinario. We love playing soccer together. I like to spend time with him whenever I can. That is all from me for now. I hope you enjoyed reading my information. I send much love to you and your family. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and for making me feel special. I pray God will bless you in all you do each day.

With much love,

Jose Wilson Hernandez Chivalan
